What is your Motto?
This is not an affirmation, it's a statement of who you are.It is a word, phrase, or sentence chosen as expressive of the goals or ideals you believe in.
My Fire Breathing Dragon possess unbelievable strength, she reaches out to make  changes and she's here to remind me I'm a little Hottie. Yep, you heard her!!!
My Motto for my fine art business is;
Fine Art For The Finer Things In Life.
This year for myself I will be picking 3 Motto's to help remind me who I am.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!

It's almost here and I can hardly wait to pop to cork and bring in the New Year!!
So many blessing and exciting adventures to come....I can hardly sit still.
Whats on my New Years Resolution.....
1. More Adventures......More traveling....trips....eating new foods and talking to more strangers!!!

Freedom, Freedom is what I must want for this new year, physically, financially, mentally, spiritually and creatively......We are taught not to be selfish, vain and want things like money or success. This year will be all about that . Learning how to express and create a life that I want. Being selfish, vain, and successful will all be brought in and I will make decisions on each according to how they fit into my beliefs, my world, my truths and my judgements for better or worse. This is my life....no dress rehearsal....

3, In search of a word,

What a twisted mess one starts to weave when one starts to self analyze. To love others has to come from first loving yourself. My words often come back to me only to stir imagination and inspiration. If only someone were to talk to me like that!!! What would I accomplish? How far could my confidence and imagination take me? Self Talk, I see now how important that is. What affirmation should I repeat to myself.? What word would be so strong that it would carry me through doubt and disbelief, "I Am". Even for me that doesn't seem strong enough,. It doesn't define to me in terms of explanation of who I am. What word would push me through the hard times, give me bliss at the highs and hold me during the mundane days? I am in search of such a word.

 Well that is it for starters on my new journey for the year 2012,

Pink Saturday

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY!!
I will be away this Sat. but I did not forget you.
 I am packing my bags,

and leaving very early in the morning.
 Not by car,
 not by bike,
 yes by train!!!!...

 I am taking the Amtrak train from Elko to Sacramento this week end. It is on my  Bucket list. We will be going through the Sierra Mountains. Of course, it is storming now with lots of snow. I hope we do not get stuck, or snowed in on the train, but than again that is the adventure of the trip....not knowing.
It's been awhile since I have put out a haiku, 5,7,5 syllables.   So along with pink  today I will gift you with a haiku.

The snow is falling,
it is still winter for us,
soon spring will be here

Jax has left the Tower

I'm letting go. I saw Tangled the 3D movie, Awesome, but it got me to thinking that its time to let the kittens go.  Jax has left the "Tower". I have had this little kitten since it was born in the Spring. I thought that maybe he should be an inside cat, but truly he needs to go out and explore the world. It is the right thing to do and I pray that I don't loose him. He is part of the world so I have let him go free to have a snow adventure.
Here is how I came to have kitten:
I wanted a cat for my studio and my husband said "no, we have two cats." So I brought each one into the studio and asked them if they would like to stay here and be my "studio cat." Each one looked around and promptly left for the outside world. So than I said I want a "kitten" and will get one in spring when kittens are born. Again, Kerry said "no!" Well not more than two days later a small beautiful gray and white cat shows up in my garage, and she's pregnant!!! I brought her into my studio, two days later she had five kittens so not only do I have a studio cat but studio Kittens. Isn't the Universe wonderful????
The mommy cat we named Gabby, and we kept two of her kitten. Jax and Sassy. Slowly they are learning about the outside world.
