Monday's Question???

How do you overcome that which prevents you from taking risks?
Monday's Question???
????????????????????
Yesterday I brought up all my courage and just did it! I registered and paid for two fine art workshops in acrylic. These workshop are far away from my home. I am planning on going by myself. This is huge for me. I almost never go anywhere alone. I always invite people to join me. But this time it was different. No one had time to go with me to the workshop in April and so it was either not go or go it alone. I put up many blocks telling myself why I could not go, it is amazing how we stand in our own way. After thinking things through I just said NO I want to go to this workshop. So JUST DO IT. I wrote the check and mailed it off so I could not change my mind~~~
What's your story.

Amazing things happen when like minded people get together, we may began as strangers but in time end as friends. You learn by going where you have to go, if your lucky you meet good people along the way.If you would like to know more about me and see my artwork I invite you to my artwork website http//www.jeanhartartwork.com If you would like to contact me e-mail at jhartart@yahoo.com

TTFN ~ Marydon
well, my story is...having eight siblings, I always had someone to do things with. When I moved away, all I had was my hubby. One day I broke out of my shell and decided to do things on my own (his sisters were never available to do things...they never do anything without their hubbies). I joined three scrapbooking clubs and a craft club and I'm having a lot of fun. I'm so glad I took that first step...afraid as I was but I did it!
ReplyDeleteMarydon, you are so right, its a leap of faith.
ReplyDeleteMaria, I am the last of 6 siblings, so I understant story. I love how you say,"afraid as I was but I did it!"
If I want to do something I do it but if it's not that important I have no problem letting it go. Good for you taking that leap. I know you'll have a great time.
